Starts: Immediate
Travel: Up to 50% travel within Toronto at client sites and up to 25% travel outside the GTA – within Ontario (and possibly New Brunswick – not often maybe for a couple of days)
25% of time would be at the Mississauga office.
Reports to: Management Consultant
Direct Reports: 80 Technical and project delivery

They are currently seeking 3 Sr. Cisco Consultants for their Mississauga, ON office.
The Senior Consultant (Converged Communications Architect team) is among the highest technical positions within the delivery organization that focuses on technical expertise in designing complex solutions for enterprise customers, while guaranteeing project and solution quality, and supporting sales teams in conveying the value of solutions to the customer. The Senior Consultant will provide business value to enterprise-level customers and leading large scale projects that have many resources assigned. The primary objective of this position is to provide technically advanced, solution-based consulting services to the client’s customers in an industry leading, professional manner.
At this level, the individual will consistently perform as a Consultant, providing a track record of exceptional service, centered on technical and business ability. A focus on technical disciplines will require attainment of at least one certification at expert level, either through vendor certification attainment or relevant industry experience.
Must Have Skills/Experience:
1. Strong IPT UC Resource experience
2. Proficiency in other technologies: Contact Center/Contact Center Express
3. Strong Routing/Switching background
4. Demonstrated, delivery experience on at least 1 large complex deployment project
5. Experience working on Field Deployments
6. Experienced at designing and configuring deployment initiatives
7. Experience leading a team (or capable of leading a team)
8. CCIE certified or relative industry experience (7 years) leading deployments on complex global projects
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
-Technical Lead on large and/or Global projects
-Lead highly complex projects. Examples of very complexity projects would be IPT projects involving UCCX integrating with CUCM and other IPT components.
-Overall technical design responsibilities
-Oversee the implementation of environments utilizing other resources as necessary
-Mentor other engineers assigned to your projects
-Responsible for customer facing written deliverables/ strong written and verbal communications skills desired.
-Interact with partners to maintain a current exposure to new technology concepts and provide a heightened sense of capabilities in new and emerging technologies.
-Establish IT architectures for highly complex customer environments.
-Sets customer standards that enable business improvements by implementing proper technology solutions.
-Assist in escalations on projects.
-Responsible for assisting in the deployment of a team as primary escalation point during project. Handle project related technical issues when requested by project managers, or other team members.
-Proactively provides experience in improving Data systems, services and operational processes
-Effectively establish, manage and possess the skills to repair a relationship with clients.
-Has the ability to manage Client expectations and escalations with ease

-Ability to research and obtain new product and technical knowledge

-Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assist and effectively communicate with individuals across the organization
-Proficiency in translating technical concepts into business solutions and clearly communicating to all levels and technical abilities within client organizations
-Technical competency in most product/technical areas of the LOB and thorough understanding of multiple technologies and/or solutions.
Work Experience Required:
-A minimum of 10+ years overall IT experience is required
-A minimum of 7 years of recent and related industry experience as a Lead Consultant
-Ability to provide documented prior success in the role of a Lead Consultant on previous projects (including at least 1 large-scale project).
Technical Certifications Desired:
CCIE Voice or Equivalent in Job Experience
CCNP - Voice
CCNP- Route Switch

Cisco Routers and Switches, Gateways
Cisco TelePresence and Business Video (i.e. Tandberg)
Cisco Unified Communications Manager
Cisco Unity and Unity Connection
Cisco Presence
All Voice signaling Technologies (especially SIP)
Cisco UCCX advanced design and scripting
Cisco Collaboration technologies (i.e. WebEx and MeetingPlace)
