Work location: Remote (with hybrid options in Toronto only)

Compensation: Hourly (paid in equity compensation equivalent to CAD $32-35/hour

About the job:

We are currently seeking a Business Development MBA Intern for a challenging experience based Internship to contribute to an innovative and groundbreaking project in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Are you passionate about AI and looking to make your mark in the industry? Come join our dynamic team as we push the boundaries and create a game changer in the world of AI. You will have the unique opportunity to participate in a fully immersive internship where you will be helping shape strategic initiatives and business development projects. This is designed largely as a remote placement however can also be a hybrid internship (Chicago or Toronto).  In this engagement/applied learning internship you'll gain unparalleled experience in a high-growth, dynamic environment, directly interfacing with senior management and largely different from any other internship.  It will be a demanding internship and will require you to bring the best version of yourself to the table, but for those who embrace this, it will be a richly rewarding experience as well as a great compliment to your academic investment.

What You'll Do:

  • Participate in broker syndicate activities coordination, supporting documentation, and communication processes.
  • Contribute to the evolution of tools, processes, and strategies aimed at business development. Carry out insightful market research and analysis to identify potential strategic partners and investment opportunities.
  • Engage directly with potential investors, assisting in investor communications and presentations.
  • Support the development of comprehensive business plans for our upcoming $100 million capital markets funding round.



About You:

  • Currently pursuing an MBA or any related field degree, with a focus on business development, strategy, or entrepreneurship.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a talent for identifying market trends and evaluating business opportunities.
  • Proficient in effective communication and engagement with stakeholders and potential partners.
  • Self-driven and proactive, with a strong desire to contribute to the growth of a dynamic organization.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Hiring Process:

  1. Application Submission: Candidates are invited to submit their resumes and cover letters through our career portal.
  2. Written Questionnaire: Selected candidates will receive a set of 10 written questions to assess their fit and technical knowledge..
  3. Video Questionnaire: Candidates who successfully pass the written assessment will be asked to answer 10 additional questions to be submitted in a video format to further evaluate their skills and cultural fit.  The ability to video record your answers will be required.
  4. Evaluation: Our team will review the responses to both questionnaires. Candidates who meet our criteria will be invited to the next stage.
  5. Orientation Session: Successful candidates will be invited to participate in an orientation session where they will learn more about Vosyn, our projects, and what to expect during the internship. After this session, you will be given the opportunity to opt-in if you choose that this internship is for you.
