JobDescription: Electrotechnician:
Reportingto the maintenance supervisor the electromechanic inspectsmaintains diagnoses modifies repairs and adjusts various mechanicalelectrical hydraulic and pneumatic equipment while adhering toestablished standards policies andprocedures.

KeyResponsibilities

• Ensurethe proper functioning of productionequipment
  
• Overseeprogramming and proper functioning ofPLCs
  
• Performrepairs and adjustments on various automated equipment(troubleshooting)
  
• Makemodifications to PLC and PCprogramming
  
• Optimizeand improve manufacturing processes and machinesequences
  
• Beresponsible forinstrumentation
  
• Workclosely with production team members to identify equipmentrelatedissues and findsolutions
  
• Installvarious types of automatedequipment
  
• Developtechnical expertise for problemsolving and continuous equipmentimprovement
  
• Followup and implement the preventive maintenanceprogram
  
• Participatein the modification improvement and implementation of theproductionline
  
• Managepriorities based on productionemergencies
  
• Ensurecontinuity of tasks between differentshifts
  
• Applycompany health and safety regulations at alltimes

Requirements

RequiredEducation andExperience

• D.E.C.or D.E.P. in electronics orinstrumentation
  
• Two (2) years ofexperience as an electrotechnician in a manufacturingenvironment
  
• Holder of an ElectricalCertificate (C ) or Clicense
  
• Experience in electricalcomponent welding(essential)

Required: - 2+ years of experience as an electro-technician -Experience in a manufacturing environment; - Holder of anElectrical Certificate (C ) or "C" license; - Experience inelectrical component welding (essential); - Experience in PLC andPC programming; - Experience in electrical and mechanicalmaintenance; - Experience with automated machinery andinstrumentation for process control. English Works but FrenchPreferred. Day shift will work, Night shift preferred - Willing towork in Boisbriand, Rougement, or St-Damase. - 4 days of work perweek. Day shift or night shift from 10:00 PM to 8:15AM.
