As Golf Town’s Department Sales Manager of Hardlines, you will beresponsible for overseeing customer service, sales, merchandise processingand operational functions in the Hardlines Department. Focus on driving salesthrough training, customer service and merchandise presentation.
Description of Job Responsibilities:
Skills, Education, Competencies:
College degree in business, golf management an asset. 1-3 years experience in a retail environment or equivalent relevant experience. Previous management experience preferred. Previous experience in a Golf Environment Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Internet Affinity for luxury golf equipment, apparel and accessories, keen interest in golf and regularly keeping up to date with market trends and new innovations in golf retail Strong communication and leadership skills and sound judgment. Detail oriented and strong attention to customer service. Prior merchandising and planning responsibility required. Ability to execute company standards successfully. Exceptional interpersonal skills-ability to adapt to meet a wide range of customer needs, able to build rapport quickly Creative, innovative, energetic and enthusiasticWork Hours:
Flex schedule - some weekends and evenings. Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
