Our client, a dynamic company based in Mississauga, is currently seeking a diligent and experienced Bilingual French Collections Representative to join their team on an ongoing contract basis. As the Bilingual French Collections Representative, you will play a crucial role in the finance department, focusing on collections, reconciliations, and customer communications.
Your responsibilities in this role:
- Make collection calls to customers, ensuring timely payments and resolving any outstanding issues.
- Connect with approximately 500 customers per week to maintain payment schedules and address any concerns.
- Perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy in account balances and transactions.
- Investigate discrepancies and disputes, working to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
- Re-send invoices to customers upon request, maintaining accurate records of all communications.
- Yield to all Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act rules and regulations.
- Ensure payments are processed
- Direct all billing and reporting activities in accordance to deadlines
- Maintain and update customer files to sustain data integrity
- Register all customer payments to the correct reports
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English, both written and verbal.
- AA or BS/BA in Accounting preferred
- Minimum of two or more years of experience in a similar collections role.
- Proven knowledge of MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
- Collector experience preferred
- Microsoft Excel experience desired
- Credit experience highly desired
- Proficiency in Collection Processes
- Previous experience using accounting software
- Be able to effectively analyze and make decisions on customer accounts
