Job Title: Mechanical Designer/EIT
Location: Calgary, Alberta
About Our Partner: Our client is a leading firm specializing in building design and consulting services. Committed to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for their clients. They are currently seeking a Mechanical Designer/EIT to join their dynamic and growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Development: Collaborate with senior engineers to develop mechanical design solutions for various building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
  • Drafting and Modeling: Create detailed 2D and 3D models using industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
  • Analysis and Calculations: Perform engineering calculations to support design decisions, including load calculations and system performance analysis.
  • Project Coordination: Work closely with architects, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated design solutions.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports.
  • Site Visits: Conduct site assessments and inspections to support project implementation and ensure compliance with design specifications.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. EIT (Engineer in Training) certification is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software. Familiarity with building codes and standards.
  • Experience: 3-5+ years of industry experience .
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
