What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Finance Operations Manager, the Accountant will assist in the accounting and audit functions of the organization. This includes but is not limited to budgeting, completing period end financial statements, and internal audit functions. The position will work closely with the Finance Managers and Team Members to ensure all financial matters are supported.
Financial Reports – preparation and analysis of period end statements/sales reports Inventory – calculation and review of inventory prepared by the departments Margins – complete monthly investigation of margins Fixed Assets – controls and analysis General Ledger – reconciliation of accounts ensuring proper support and clearance Administration – provide support ensuring period end processes are complete Annual Budgets – assist with the department and divisional budget process Year End – preparation and related tasks to assist with internal and external auditWho you are:
You have post-secondary education in Accounting, Commerce or Business You have relevant accounting experience Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is considered an asset You are proficient in Microsoft Office Experience with QuickBooks is considered an assetWhat We Offer:
