Job Description

Join our Client's team and contribute to the innovative development of their Cancer App & Data Sharing Platform, making a significant impact on the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct database conversions.
  • Prepare data for analytics.
  • Investigate and design enhancements for the DSP.
  • Develop and implement security models for the DSP.
  • Ensure technical governance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Support the goals and objectives of the DSP.
  • Provide after-hours support as part of the team’s rotation.

Work Schedule:

  • 7.25-hour workday. Some after-hours and weekend work may be required.
  • Any overtime or work during non-business hours must be pre-approved.

Qualifications

  • The language of work and service is English.
  • A University degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of demonstrated programming experience.
  • At least two (2) years of experience leading a programming team.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), including the creation of SSIS packages.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Availability to start work immediately on site in Fredericton, NB.
  • Experience with Health applications in Canada (5+ years).
  • Proven experience in developing and managing the implementation of technical solutions in an operational environment (5+ years).
  • Experience in designing, developing, and deploying reports (3+ years).
  • Proficiency with database tables, views, functions, stored procedures, indexes, and performance tuning for SQL Server implementations (5+ years).
  • Experience with SQL Server 2019 (or later), Enterprise BI, and/or other analytic/data warehouse technology (5+ years).
  • Experience in architecture where multiple systems and domains are considered from an enterprise view (5+ years).
  • Familiarity with Cognos/Impromptu (3+ years).
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting SQL-based reports (5+ years).
  • Solid understanding of relational database concepts and software development lifecycles (5+ years).
