Identifyand solicit sales prospects from various sources by cold callsmailings and phone contact in addition to those provided bycompany.

Solicit referrals from existingaccounts

Assist in resolving any problems in accounting orclaims

Support and enhance the standing/position of office personnel withclients as part of a broader clientrelationship

Coordinate timely presentations for both new and renewalbusiness

Assist in marketing accounts where appropriate with anappropriately balanced mix of relationship development and productexpertise.

Achieve a balance in production to meet agency "mix ofbusiness"goals

Arrange for premium payment in a competent manner utilizinginternal and external financing installmentsetc.

Accurately describe policies and endorsements for precise alignmentwith clientneeds

AssistAccount Managers with the closing of prospective accounts andcollaborate on the enhancement of existingaccounts.

Enhance cross selling efforts by referring clients to Life andCommercial LinesDepartments

Expected to meet and track monthly new business premium goalsthrough a variety of sources: cold calls referrals niche marketingand other appropriateavenues

Mustacquire all necessary information for a quality new businesssubmission inclusive of: information to complete applicationquestionnaires photos diagrams and any other data pertinent toaccurately gradingrisk

Beavailable for communication with marketing department underwriterand loss controlstaff

Assistwith the presentation of new business proposals toclients

Arrange for delivery of the policy when received fromcompany

Maintain knowledge of underwriting criteria for carriersrepresented bybrokerage

Assist senior staff in the evaluation and coordination of risksubmissions for selectedmarkets

Maintain a working relationship with underwriters enabling producerto occasionally negotiate the placement ofrisks

Keepcurrent with new developments on existingaccounts

Submit outbound communications (letters calls etc.) asrequired

Assist the Senior Account Executive with the presentation ofrenewaldocumentation

Maintain client relationships; resolve coverage and payment issuesCounsel clients on coverage andissues/questions

Obtain explain and exchange information with businessrepresentatives clients contractors/suppliers (companyrepresentatives) employees and the generalpublic





Requirements

Must have over 4 years of commercial account management (RealEstate) in abank

Musthave worked in the Torontoterritory

A track record of business development for financing and credit

French language is anasset
