PositionOverview:


Seekingan experienced Companion for a residence in Kingston. While theCompanion is the primary service provider in the household theywill work with a small team of parttime staff and externalcontractors who support various aspects of the household. This roleis primarily focused on supporting the principal but would alsoprovide basic daily tidying basic cooking and administrativeduties. This position is fulltime livein. A typical work week isMonday to Friday 9am 6pm. Flexibility outside of this schedule isrequired as needed when travelling with theprincipal.


CandidateProfile:

Youare a wellrounded Companion with a do what it takes attitude. Youunderstand the role of professionalism and boundaries in a privatehome can read a room and anticipate needs. You are comfortable inthe kitchen and can demonstrate good home cooking skills. When itcomes to administrative duties your organizational skills are solidyou have experience and strength with technology and productivitytools like Word and Excel. You are comfortable managing calendarsand schedules making sure your principal gets to where he needs tobe.


PrimaryResponsibilities:


Managingthe principal s schedules and calendars

Travelplanning organizing andcoordination

Dailycooking and food preparation for the principal with a focus onproviding complete healthy meals; a Mediterranean diet is thepreferredcuisine

Laundryfor the principal andhousehold

Ensureprincipal receives dailymedication

Arrangingappointments for personal and professionalneeds

Greetingof guests and visitors answering telephone and taking messagesgeneral mail andcorrespondence

Managementof household inventories and implementation of organizationalstrategies

Ensureall household mechanical systems HVAC plumbing equipment andfixtures are in good workingorder

Assistwith the ordering and purchasing of householdinventories

Ensurehousehold security protocols arefollowed

Runningerrands and performing necessary tasks like groceryshopping

Assistwith care of the householddog


ApplicantQualities:


Bea selfstarter with an anticipatory serviceorienteddisposition

Mustpossess excellent time management skills be punctual courteouspossess keen attention to detail and follow through on all tasksand projectsassigned

Musthave a sense and respect of boundaries exercise diplomacydiscretion andconfidentiality

Adrivers license and clean driving record isrequired

Mustbe legally entitled to work inCanada
