As the Medical Office Administrative Assistant will be responsible for managing administrative tasks in a medical office setting. This role requires strong data collection and medication administration skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records
- Collect and maintain accurate data related to patient demographics, medical history, and insurance information
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of care
- Handle billing and insurance claims processing
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a medical office setting is non-negotiable
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems and other relevant software applications
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
