In this role , you will have the opportunity to: Support the development and implementation of a multi-channel global external communications strategy and plan, aligned to the Seequent brand and corporate story.  Identify, assess and deliver high quality, impactful external communications initiatives and campaigns, working with third parties as needed. Support the executive team and segment directors on external communications opportunities including media interview and speaking opportunities. Support the communications element of reputation management, including the delivery of crisis communications responses if required.  Build strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, to include journalists, influencers, event organisers, third party specialists (agency/freelance) and the wider Seequent/Bentley team. Contribute to media and social media listening and external communications reporting and tracking external trends and insights and success metrics. 

In order to be successful in this role, you should have:

A minimum of five years or equivalent as an external communications advisor or similar role, either in house, or with an agency.  A suitable tertiary qualification in a communications discipline or other business-related field would be desired.  Exceptional written/oral communications skills, excellent media relations skills/PR savvy and a strong storytelling lens. Ability to spot, create and exploit a news angle effectively.  Demonstrable ability to translate the technical and complex into engaging and impactful written, visual and multi-media content that excites and inspires.  In depth experience in media relations including building relationships with journalists, pitching, creation and distribution of media content including press releases, briefings and multi-media.  Organised self-starter, with the ability to juggle competing priorities, meet deadlines and thrives in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
