We have a position open for an Architect & Engineer (A&E) Regional Manager, Canada . Ideal candidates should reside in or around Montreal, QC. 

The purpose of this role is to manage relationships between the professional consultants, architects, and engineers who specify products for inclusion into their design of security systems; and act as a bilingual technical trainer for the Axis Academy program offerings in Eastern Canada. This position will primarily manage partners in Eastern Canada, from Ottawa to the East coast.
 

Responsibilities

A&E ProgramCultivate and manage business relationships with the Architects and Engineers (A&E) Program membersBuild the network of A&E Program members by leveraging programs and outreach initiatives driven from the organizationServe as a technical liaison between Axis Communications and the A&E Program membersWork cohesively with Sweden HQ regarding program initiatives and providing recommendations for improvementSupport security specifiers by traveling to job sites, offices and security conferences/shows to maintain relationships with security firmsAssist with the planning and implementation of annual A&E Program eventDevelop and maintain database of A&E Program members and project opportunities within region, using SalesforceConsistently create opportunities for the program’s growth through training, education and business relationship managementWork with the Regional Sales Managers to provide excellent customer service to Program membersWork with your Canadian A&E Manager counterpart to develop and implement a national business strategy for the A&E communityLeverage Axis tools such as AXIS Site Designer and Autodesk plugins to increase Axis mindshare and specification of security projects within the A&E communityDevelop monthly and quarterly reports TrainerDeliver bilingual courses and webinars for both internal and external customers in Eastern CanadaMaintain training equipmentCollect and action survey feedback after training sessionsServe as an Axis Academy diplomat in customer facing engagementsWork with the Canadian Senior Technical Trainer to create and revise training materials and develop customized coursesWork with the Canadian Senior Technical Trainer to perform needs analysis for course development Perform other related duties as assigned Travel both nationally and internationally on short notice

Essential Skills

Bilingual, must be fluent in both English and French Comprehensive understanding of all facets of the physical electronic security industry Networking & cyber knowledge and capabilities Strong relationship management Self-motivated Strategic and long-term thinking Excellent communication and diplomacy skills Efficient problem solver Superb networking and interpersonal skills Travel independently and productively

Experience Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Networking Engineering or Information Systems strongly preferred Prior experience in a technical training role preferred 3+ years’ industry experience in customer facing roles related to: engineering, security integration and consulting, system design and application and/or technical sales

Valued, But Not Required

Axis Certified Professional (ACP) certification Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and/or Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification
