Job Description

Responsibilities:

The role is responsible for intake, running, analysis and management of b2b and b2c ad-hoc and tracking market research studies

  • Scope and design research programs, both qualitative and quantitative, to address business needs
  • Responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and delivering ad-hoc market research studies. This will involve:
    • Working with internal stakeholders on research requirements, and creating research briefs
    • Liaising with vendors on methodology, sampling, fieldwork progress, reporting, and data analysis
    • Analyzing data, and translating findings into actionable insights
    • Partnering with internal stakeholders on activation of the insight reports
    • Accountable for working with internal stakeholders on any queries for both studies
  • Responsible for executing, and delivering on our tracker studies. This will involve:
    • Liaising with vendors on methodology, sampling, fieldwork progress, reporting, and data analysis
    • Analyzing data, and translating findings into actionable insights
    • Partnering with internal stakeholders on activation of the insight reports
    • Accountable for working with internal stakeholders on any queries for both studies

In general,

  • Synthesize data from multiple sources and translating findings into actionable business and technology strategy recommendations
  • Bring strong business acumen to research insights to translate findings to business success
  • Conduct mixed-methods of qualitative research methods (e.g., ethnography, focus groups, diary studies)
  • Investigate customer trends and provide insights around these
  • Provide insights for different customer groups across their lifecycles, addressing critical topics such as acquisition and migration
  • Understand key business priorities, drivers and hypotheses, in order to deliver actionable insights and propose new areas for investigation.

Requirement:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills: skilled presentation creator to convey insights supported by data
  • Breadth of knowledge of quantitative research techniques including when to employ each:
    • Survey research
    • Descriptive research
    • Correlation research
    • Experimental research
  • Trained in all aspects of qualitative research, including correct usage, limitation and moderation of:
    • IDIs
    • FGD
    • Observational
  • Proven ability to synthesize research and analytics into clear insights, and to deliver actionable recommendations
  • Extensive experience with vendor and project management
  • Good skill in Microsoft Office especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Proficient in data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau
  • Data driven, and highly numerate including hands-on knowledge of statistical and multi-variate analysis
    • Able to run and read Uni and Multivariate analysis, and translate these findings to broader audiences
    • Able to identify correct modeling techniques to employ
  • Experience understanding and partnering with analytics teams to deliver robust insights
  • Experience conducting consumer and b2b surveys across multiple markets, including but not limited to Americas, Europe, ME&A, APAC, Australia

  • Ability to work with limited supervision at a senior level
  • Flexible and resilient, with willingness to work outside regular working hours covering stakeholders around all International Markets
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English

Background

  • Degree holder, ideally in Statistics, Marketing, Psychology, Journalism or related discipline
  • 12+ years demonstrated experience in consumer insights or market research including at least 7 years experience of b2b research with hard-to-reach audiences
  • Agency experience at large full service market research agency background, including Kantar, Ipsos, Ipsos-MORI, Synovate, YouGov, Nielsen, GfK, Milward Brown, is preferred
