Jardeg is recruiting  for Electrician Journeyperson to join our Bonnyville Fabrication Shop team. This is a long term full-time position on 4/3 - 4 days on, 3 days off rotation.

 

Bonnyville Fabrication Shop does fabrication and installation of process piping, structural steel and skid packages for the oil and gas industry anywhere in Alberta.  For over 40 years, the Bonnyville office and team have been providing specialized material requirements and technical services and support for industrial construction and applications. As a longtime part of the Bonnyville and area community, we take pride in supporting and contributing to local organizations that improve and enhance community life.

Previous fabrication and assembly shop experience considered an asset.

 

*** $175/day living out allowance***

*** Travel allowance based on distance travelled***

 

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret drawings, schematics, electrical code specific to electrical equipment layout.

  • Tests, examines, and installs electrical components, wiring, receptables, switches and other electrical controls.

  • Work with cutting, threading, bending, assembling, and installing conduits and other conductors and fittings.

  • Experience with Fabrication shop and Assembly.

 

Requirements:

  • Journeyperson Certification required.

  • Construction Safety Training Systems - 20 (CSTS-20) Certification required.

  • WHMIS 2015

  • ESC Fall Protection

  • ESC Aerial Work Platforms

  • First Aid

  • ESC H2S Alive

  • Valid Class 5 drivers license and 3 years' of drivers abstract
