Infrastructure Crew Lead Edmonton, Alberta
Tridon Infrastructure is currently seeking an Experienced Crew Leader for work based in Edmonton, Alberta and surrounding communities.
Job Summary:
As a Crew Lead you will be responsible for overseeing and supervising the work force, safety documentation and job preparation. You will be the main point of contact for the customer on site, resolving any concerns and building strong customer relationships. You will ensure that all work is completed safely, to the highest standards, and that customers needs are met. As the Crew Lead you will be responsible to train, coach, and mentor the technicians on proper work practices, proper techniques and ensure that safe work practices are followed all times.
Required Work Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of previous experience in a cabling infrastructure setting Prior experience operating trench excavating equipment and pulling machines Minimum 5 years of experience reading and interpret telecommunication drawings and specifications, setting pedestals, conduit identification, work planning Minimum 2 years of experience in a crew supervisory capacity Minimum 2 years of experience in direct customer facing role Assets include:
Current and up to date safety tickets
Communications educations is an asset
Must Haves:
Valid Alberta Class 5 Operators License or equivalent (recent Drivers Abstract will be required upon condition of employment) Equipment operation certifications Commercial drivers abstract will be required Excellent understanding of communications cabling standards applicable to the telecommunications industry that include codes and regulations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with clients and team members Customer service focus with excellent customer service skillsAbout Us:
