Purpose

Musselwhite Mine is seeking energetic Underground Miners with a positive attitude to join our dedicated team.  We have openings in the areas of Production, Logistics/Services, and Development mining groups.  

Responsibilities
  • Work safely in the underground environment
  • Take direction from Leaders and Underground Supervisors
  • Be an engaged and active member of a highly productive team
  • Production mining
  • Logistics/Services mining
  • Development mining 
Requirements
  • At least two years of underground mining experience
  • Experienced in mechanized mining
  • Experience with operating various underground mining equipment including, but not limited to, haul trucks, scooptrams (manual, remote, tele-remote), boom trucks, shotcrete sprayers, bulk emulsion loaders, carrier-mounted longhole drills, jumbos (boring & bolting)
  • Ontario Underground Common Core certified
  • Current and valid driver’s license preferred
  • Experienced in remote work camps
  • Ability to sit/drive for up to 12 hours daily
  • Ability to lift up to 20 kg
Working Conditions

The work schedule for this fly in/fly out position is 14 on, 14 days off, working 12-hour days.
