Working closely with our engineering and production teams, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of our CNC machining operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Program Development: Using CAD/CAM software (such as Mastercam, SolidWorks, or similar) to generate CNC programs for various machining operations, including milling, turning, and multi-axis machining.
  2. Tool Selection and Optimization: Selecting appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds based on material properties, part geometry, and machine capabilities. Optimizing tool paths to maximize efficiency and minimize machining time.
  3. Setup and Testing: Setting up CNC machines and conducting test runs to verify program accuracy and optimize machining parameters. Making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired results.
  4. Quality Assurance: Performing in-process inspections and using precision measuring instruments (such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges) to verify part dimensions and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  5. Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Identifying and resolving machining issues, such as tool wear, machine malfunctions, or programming errors. Performing routine maintenance tasks to keep CNC equipment in optimal condition.
  6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of CNC programs, tooling specifications, setup instructions, and production reports. Providing feedback to engineering and production teams for process improvement.
  7. Safety and Compliance: Adhering to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements related to CNC machining operations. Promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the organization.
Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering, machining technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and G-code programming.
  • Strong knowledge of machining principles, tooling selection, and CNC machine operation.
  • Programmer for CNC Milling Machines 3-axis
  • Programmer for CNC Lathe Machines 2-axis
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
  • Knowledge of vernier measurements.
  • Able to work in fast-pace environment and self-motivated.
  • Can work independently and within a team.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with health and safety and housekeeping practices,
and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
  • Abide by all rules and regulations of the Company
