District Sales Manager

Reporting to the Regional Commercial Manager (RCM) for South & Central America and the Caribbean, the District Sales Manager (DSM) is responsible for the commercial activities of all products lines within the assigned markets. The District Sales Manager ensures that the local market needs are properly fed back to the organization in order to ensure that these are reflected in the global business plan for the zone. The District Sales Manager works closely together with all departments of BRP in order to ensure both the efficient solution of problems as well as the proper implementation of the business plan.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Develop and achieve commercial objectives and targets (turnover – market share – dealer development – etc.) for the business partners in each of the markets for which the district manager is responsible. Maintain and develop a profitable and strong distributor network for all products of the division within the district. Research, evaluate and propose new distributors to Commercial Manager in order to improve/ optimize market coverage for each line of product and achieve growth results in the District under his/her responsibility. Communicate the business plan objectives and priorities to the distributor dealer and assist in the development of a local business plan which defines key objectives, priorities and critical factors for success for each of the assigned markets. Ensure that the local business plan objectives and market development strategy are in line with the global business plan and strategy of the zone. Monitor business partner performance and progress during the year in order to ensure the realization of the business plan objectives and to propose corrective actions, if required. Monitor global business partner commitment, performance and results on an on-going basis. Participate in the development of the strategic business plan for the zone in cooperation with the RCM, Marketing Advisor and other members of the management team. Ensure feedback to the organization and identify key priorities to develop each market. Work closely with and initiate the required actions from all departments to ensure proper feedback to ensure the realization of the business plan objectives. Analyze and identify sales and marketing opportunities in order to optimize the efficiency of policies and propose budget allocations that leverage the marketing strategies and sales performances of BRP and the business partners. Work closely with the marketing department to ensure consistency with brand management guidelines, product positioning strategy and value chain implementation, dealer development guidelines, etc., while recognizing the specific characteristics of each individual market.YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
University degree with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in the automotive or motorcycle industry or equivalent power sport industry. Good communication skills in English and Spanish are mandatory (both written and spoken). Working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and related software packagesProfile
