Textile Graphic Design Freelancer

We are looking for a Textile Graphic Design Freelancer who will contribute to Laura’s success by creating artwork for print graphics and embellishments. This is a 3-month contract position and the freelancer is required to work on-site 3x per week.
How will you support the team?
- Develop original prints and their repetitions.
- Prepare print-ready artwork for vendors technical packages.
- Collaborate with our Design Department to develop and execute seasonal deliverables as they pertain to art & graphics.
- Create detailed technical specs for each artwork.
- Assess and troubleshoot prototypes.
- Maintain art libraries and organizes graphics by month, season and concept.
- Respect monthly/collection’s art deadlines and proactively reacts to potential issues.
Qualifications
The people who thrive with us have:
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or illustration
- 2 to 4 years of staff and/or freelance experience in print graphics
- Experience in textile design or related fields
- Strong artistic eye
- Advanced proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Proficient in color separation and technical details
- Strong illustration and typography skills
