Our Royal Mount based company is looking for a team leader for a retail warehouse who knows how to manage and motivate the team working under his or her wing

Are you a real leader who knows how to rally the troops and already have experience working as a warehouse supervisor? We need someone with your drive We need people who like to move around and enjoy the human touch, building on good team relations to get the job done.

As a team leader, you'll be responsible for supporting the planning of warehouse activities, optimising resources and executing processes. You will be responsible for ensuring stock accuracy and maintaining a positive and safe working environment while respecting business values and ethics.

Monday to Friday
7am to 3.30pm
Salary starting at $27/h
overtime paid at time-and-a-half

Responsibilities
The team leader's responsibilities will include

- Plan and prioritise warehouse activities according to specific areas (receiving, warehousing and shipping);
- Manage the team's individual key performance indicators (KPIs);
- Leading team meetings to communicate the evening plan;
- Propose solutions to optimise productivity by reviewing processes and solving problems;
- Generate accurate reports to follow up on action plans, gaps such as missing boxes, picking and deciding priorities, etc..;
- Check pricing errors;
- Generate CVP reports;
- Perform SAP searches and correct discrepancies where necessary;
- Promote health and safety standards practices;
- Prepare and participate in the transition meeting between the day and evening shifts;
- Coach and consolidate the team;
- Develop action plans based on data contained in SAP, incidents, CVP meetings, etc., and enter them into the UTRACK application.

Qualifications
Skills expected of an excellent team leader :

- 2 years' experience in a supervisory role;
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS);
- Excel; SAP;
- Good communication and coaching skills;
- Good organisational skills, teamwork, attention to detail and ability to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
