This position covers the territory of Ontario and Manitoba
Drive sales for Continental Tire Canada Inc. CST (Commercial Specialty Tires) products. Provide market growth and strong dealer and national account development within Material Handling, Agriculture, Port and OTR (Off The Road) product lines. Develop business partnerships with key accounts and coordinate sales and training with each account on a regional level. Retain and grow existing accounts and solicit new business by executing the sales strategy. Effectively manage territory through prioritization and maximum efficiency to ensure that corporate objectives, including established call frequencies and
individual objectives are met. Develop and maintain territory coverage plan. Territory, Account, Opportunity & Call planning. Sales Calls - Face to face meetings with call plans followed up in salesforce
Function as account manager for target dealers. Participate in sales meetings, product and training meetings and new account development at target dealers. Identify opportunities for new product lines. Assist in the development of product strategy per key account to ensure current product lines are renewed or discarded in a normal product life cycle plan so that competition is not able to circumvent the market share of CTCI at the account. (50% of the time) Develop and provide training for both company and dealer personnel. Conduct one-on-one training on product, selling and inventory management. Working in conjunction with both end user and dealer time is required in the field assessing and tracking tires. (25% of the time) Conduct market intelligence to ensure sell out pricing in retail market. Analyze customers and market conditions to provide management with data about market trends, competitive products, pricing, promotions and programs, and assist in monthly article forecast with regional management. Identify opportunities and market new product lines through customer needs-analysis and knowledge of competitor products. (10% of the time) Assist in coordination, monitoring, and managing inventory and production planning to meet the forecast and unit objectives per key account. Ensure forecasting by article number is current and accurate. (5% of the time) Administration - Manage and resolve all operational and administrative issues that occur with the key accounts, such as billing. (10% of the time)
Qualifications
BASIC
Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of related experience OR 3+ years of related experience if no degree Field Sales experience Valid Driver’s License and Passport The expected starting salary range for this position is $85,000 (or more) + sales bonus + company vehicle. The actual starting salary will vary depending on the qualifications of the candidate. Ability to travel 40-50% of the time Legal Authorization to work in Canada is required. Masters Degree Bachelor’s degree and 3-5+ years of experience OR 6+ years of related experience if no degree Tire, Automotive or Industrial experience Experience using Salesforce, PowerBI, and/or SAP
