Our systems integration project office is composed of an agile team with a deliverable-centric approach. It is a team that operates in a respectful and relaxed environment and values innovation and excellence. We are looking for passionate and committed collaborators to deliver on our portfolio of projects, whether in the entertainment, transportation, education, and/or corporate sectors.

Reporting to the Toronto Operations Director and dotted line to the Director of the PMO, you will work as a Senior Project Manager and have direct supervision of the Toronto and Calgary project management team and project portfolios. You will work as an executor, team leader and expert in a respectful and innovative environment to deliver audiovisual solutions for the various sectors of our systems integration division. As the Chief Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing your own projects as well as the activities of your team, ensuring a level of performance and expertise in accordance with the requirements of the company and the PMO.

Your day will look like this:  

Spend approximately 75% of your time managing your own projects while spending 25% of your time supporting and managing your team of project managers Provide assistance and support for project planning, problem solving and profitability Implement the right strategies to evolve the skills of your team of project managers on internal processes and work methods based on PMI strategies, while remaining agile and produce analyses and various operational reports according to business needs Ensure quality and compliance with PMI processes and basics in the execution of projects, with the support of the various systems in place In collaboration with your management team and with the Chief Project Coordinator, participate in the continuous improvement of work practices according to PMI criteria and their implementation Coordinate, plan, assign tasks and supervise the work of your team of project managers to ensure effective project execution  Ensure the growth and effectiveness of your team of project managers by identifying and implementing appropriate strategies, organizing, developing and providing training on systems and processes for your team of project managers

Your profile:

Minimum diploma or degree in construction, project management, or engineering Minimum of 5 to 7 years of proven experience in construction project management or another related field High level of project management in the audiovisual industry a major asset Experience managing a team a major asset PMP a major asset - must be completed within 12 months of hire and kept current Demonstrates positive leadership skills while collaborating effectively with colleagues Demonstrates innovation and is open to new ideas and changes Strong interpersonal and relationship skills Possess a CTS certification (an asset) Experience in blueprint reading (an asset)
