Sous la supervision du Gestionnaire de la Pharmacie, en collaboration avec le Chef d’équipe et le Pharmacien, coordonnateur des opérations, vous assistez le pharmacien dans ses fonctions. Vous effectuez les tâches se rapportant à l'exécution des ordonnances, la préparation et la distribution des médicaments, la gestion des inventaires des médicaments et fournitures dont le service de pharmacie a la responsabilité. Vous jouez un rôle dans la collecte de l’information sur la prise de la médication à domicile par le patient. Vous collaborez activement avec le pharmacien en exécutant les tâches administratives reliées à l'exercice de vos fonctions. Vos responsabilités clés sont :

• Vérifier les premières doses préparées par les assistant(e)s en pharmacie ainsi que les magistrales;
• Vérifier les lots et les médicaments stériles préparés;
• Reçevoir les ordonnances pharmaceutiques et les trier;
• Constituer, consulter et mettre à jour le profil pharmacothérapeutique du patient;
• Préparer et distribuer des services quotidiens des médicaments servis sur réquisition;
• Effectuer la recherche afin de compléter une histoire médicamenteuse la plus complète possible;
• Participer à l’amélioration continue des méthodes de travail, la formation du personnel et la documentation des activités;
• Vérifier périodiquement la conformité des inventaires de médicaments en réserve dans les unités de soins, services, armoires de nuit, chariots, boîtes d'urgence ou autres;
• Préparer des solutions stériles et produits extemporanés;
• Maintenir à jour tout registre pour le contrôle de la distribution et de l'utilisation des stupéfiants et drogues contrôlées;
• Assurer l'entretien et le nettoyage des équipements et du matériel de pharmacie;
• Compiler les données et participer à l'élaboration des rapports statistiques et autres concernant le département de pharmacie;
• Effectuer toutes autres tâches connexes à la demande de son supérieur immédiat.

Profil d'exigences

• Detenir un certificat d’inscription (permis) valide de Technicien en pharmacie de l’Ordre des pharmaciens de l’Ontario (OPO);
• Détenir une certification valide en réanimation cardiorespiratoire (RCR);
• Posséder un minimum de six (6) mois d’expérience acquise dans les deux (2) dernières années en pharmacie communautaire ou en milieu hospitalier;
• Connaître les techniques aseptiques, arithmétiques pharmaceutiques ainsi que la terminologie médicale et pharmaceutique;
• Démontre des habiletés à utiliser des outils informatiques (Suite Microsoft Office, Meditech, utilisation d’internet);
• Maîtriser les deux langues officielles (français et anglais) à l’oral et à l’écrit à un niveau intermédiaire.
