Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic PR campaigns and media relations strategies, tailored to the energy sector.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling content that effectively communicates our vision and achievements in the energy industry.
  • Manage media inquiries and interview requests, acting as a spokesperson for the company as needed.
  • Monitor, analyze, and communicate PR results on a regular basis.
  • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them.
  • Organize and coordinate press conferences, interviews, and other PR events.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and other stakeholders in the energy sector.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations, communications, or a related role, specifically within the energy sector.
  • Proven track record of designing and executing successful public relations campaigns.
  • Strong relationships with both local and national media outlets.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically, even under pressure.
  • Proficiency in social media, content creation, and PR software.
  • Must have oil and gas sector experience
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
