What you’ll do:

The Salesperson will seek service excellence by providing knowledgeable and friendly furniture and accessories sales advice to customers; will provide insight for interior design recommendations when it comes to home furniture and accessory selections; will complete the sale and follow through on all transactions; and will provide cross-department support by assisting with furniture and appliance placement and/or displays, building furniture, housekeeping, and other tasks. The Salesperson will live the Co-op Brand and strive to achieve and maintain positive and healthy relationships with co-workers and customers. 

Who you are: 

You are looking for a career in Sales and:

Are committed to service excellence and possess a friendly disposition. Enjoy ongoing development and learning new products, trends and styles. Understanding and passion for home fashion trends and solid understanding of interior design. Are driven to achieve sales targets and goals. Have intermediate computer skills. Are able to perform some level of physical work with some heavy lifting/moving (up to 40lbs). Although not the focus of the job, moving furniture and appliances in the showroom is a common task and expected as part of the role to create beautiful displays.  Have strong English communication skills, attention to detail and organizational skills.  Are available for day shifts, some evening shifts, and a rotation of Saturdays.

Qualifications: 

Sales experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Computer proficiency is required.  Excellent oral and written English communication skills. Proven ability as a self-starter and assertive.
