Classification: Laboratory Assistant I Union: HSAA FAC PROF/TECH Unit and Program: Laboratory Primary Location: Sturgeon Community Hospital Location Details: As Per Location Multi-Site: Not Applicable FTE: 0.50 Posting End Date: 05-JUN-2024 Employee Class: Regular Part Time Date Available: 15-JUN-2024 Hours per Shift: 3.875 Length of Shift in weeks: 2 Shifts per cycle: 10 Shift Pattern: Days Days Off: As Per Rotation Minimum Salary: $23.72 Maximum Salary: $29.56 Vehicle Requirement: Not Applicable Required Qualifications:Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Recent experience with EPIC Beaker Laboratory Information System and recent experience with phlebotomy is required.
Preferred Qualifications:Recent experience with Urinalysis is preferred. Recent experience with data entry, specimen processing and troubleshooting is preferred. Recent experience using Rover is preferred.
