Office Manager

We are offering an opportunity for an Office Manager to join our client located in Chilliwack, BC. The role involves a range of responsibilities, including managing staff schedules, providing bookkeeping support, and ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the office.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the scheduling and approval of employee time off
• Provide assistance in basic bookkeeping tasks, particularly with Sage300
• Handle the recruitment and onboarding process of new staff
• Engage in performance management of staff to ensure high-quality services
• Support trust accounting activities when necessary
• Act as a support system for the owners in executing their duties
• Ensure the efficient daily operation of the office
• Manage and oversee staff performance
• Provide administrative assistance as required
Requirements:
• Proven experience in Accounting and basic Bookkeeping
• Demonstrable skills in People & Performance Management
• Prior experience in Administrative Assistance
• Strong organizational and planning abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other office management tools
• Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
