Theideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects ofbridge construction projects from inception to completion. Theywill manage project schedules budgets resources and teams to ensuresuccessful project delivery while adhering to safety and qualitystandards.

Requirements

KeyResponsibilities:

Leadand manage bridge construction projects from initiation to closeoutensuring adherence to project specifications schedules andbudgets.

Coordinatewith clients stakeholders subcontractors and regulatory agencies toensure project requirements are met and expectations areexceeded.

Developproject plans schedules and budgets and monitor progress to ensuretimely and costeffective projectexecution.

Identifyand mitigate project risks and issues and implement effectivesolutions to ensure projectsuccess.

Manageproject resources including personnel equipment and materials tooptimize productivity andefficiency.

Conductregular site visits and inspections to monitor constructionprogress quality and safetycompliance.

Prepareand present project status reports progress updates and budgetanalyses to stakeholders andmanagement.

Fostera culture of safety quality and excellence within the project teamensuring compliance with all relevant regulations andstandards.

Mentorand coach junior staff members providing guidance and support tofacilitate their professional growth anddevelopment.


Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering; P.Eng. Designation isrequired.

Minimumof 7 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus onbridge constructionprojects.

Proventrack record of successfully managing bridge construction projectsfrom inception tocompletion.

Strongproject management skills including the ability to develop projectplans schedules and budgets and manage project resourceseffectively.

Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills with the ability toeffectively liaise with clients stakeholders subcontractors andteammembers.

Soundknowledge of construction methods materials and techniques with afocus on bridgeconstruction.

Proficiencyin project management software and tools such as Primavera P6 orMicrosoftProject.

Strongleadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire teammembers to achieve projectgoals.

Commitmentto safety quality and excellence in all aspects of projectdelivery.

Key Responsibilities: Design and development of electrical systems,including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, andcommunication systems, for commercial and mixed-use buildings.Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Workclosely with architects, mechanical engineers, and other teammembers to integrate electrical designs with other buildingsystems. Participate in coordination meetings to resolve designconflicts and optimize system performance. Provide advancedtechnical expertise in electrical engineering. Mentor and guidejunior engineers and technicians, and review their work to ensureaccuracy and quality. Incorporate energy-efficient and sustainablepractices into electrical designs. Explore and implement innovativesolutions that reduce energy consumption and enhance systemperformance. Engage with clients to understand their needs andexpectations. Present design concepts, provide technicalrecommendations, and address any client concerns throughout theproject lifecycle. Oversee the quality control process forelectrical design and installation. Conduct site inspections toensure systems are installed according to design specifications andindustry standards. Prepare detailed electrical design documents,including drawings, specifications, and reports. Maintaincomprehensive project documentation and ensure all deliverables arecompleted on time. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor s degree inElectrical Engineering or a related field is required. 5+ years ofexperience in electrical engineering, with a focus on commercialand mixed-use projects. Experience in the Vancouver or BC market ispreferred. Proficient in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD,Revit, and ETAP). Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards,and best practices. Ability to manage multiple projects and meetdeadlines. Certifications: Professional Engineer (P.Eng)designation in British Columbia is required.
