Under thedirection of an Information Technology Supervisor or Coordinator, theInformation Technology Analyst provides all levels of technical resolution toclients and operational solutions relating to hardware, software, network,voice, and related client and server technology. 

This position performs these mainfunctions/duties:

Supports client business units in their use ofinformation technology and business systems. Technology Service Centre support for clients. Performs desk-side hardware and softwaretroubleshooting as well as regular hardware refreshes. Performs information technology administrationand other duties and responsibilities.

As our preferred candidate, youwill have:

Must have a two-year technical computer diploma orequivalent combination of education and experience in an Information TechnologyServices environment. Must have three years’ experience in a comparableposition: Working in a medium to large sized networkedenvironment Using and troubleshooting modern Microsoft Windowsoperating systems. Working with PC hardware and software systems(install, maintain, administer, and configure) Performing routine maintenance and support oftechnology hardware and software systems Experience in the following will be an asset: Microsoft SCCM administration Experience with Service Desk support and tools Working with an emergency response team such asPolice, Emergency Dispatchers, Firefighters, etc.
Technical support for Microsoft Active Directory 2012or higher, and Group Policy Management Providing technical support and management of VoIP andcellular devices Networking experience with a good understandingof the TCP/IP suite of protocols Preference will be given to candidates who are familiarwith the following: Windows Security Networking Network security Must have demonstrated ability to establish andmaintain effective working relationships with other Information TechnologyStaff, end-user department personnel and outside vendors & consultants. Must have the ability to exert moderate physicaleffort (e.g. lifting computers and related equipment) Must have excellent verbal and written communications Must have the ability the ability to work with limitedsupervision Must have the ability to work in a demanding andfrequently stressful environment. Must have valid drivers license and be able performfield service calls Must be available to perform after hours call outduties on a scheduled basis

$34.62 to $52.53 per hour

Hours of Work:

75hours biweekly; Monday to Friday, with an expectation of regular rotation in anon-call support and some evening and weekend work maybe required when needed.
