Job Description

AECOM Canada Nuclear Services is searching for a Project Information Specialist for a full-time position.

Support the Vice President, Nuclear Sector Lead by ensuring that the outputs and supporting documentation for ACNS including Controlled Documents, Supporting Documents, Contract Documents, Communications, and any other technical information supporting projects.  The position is accountable to:

  • Work in collaboration with the Engineering Leads to successfully retain the information described above
  • Establish and maintain a Controlled Document Environment where approved controlled documents, source files, and a Master Document List are stored and made available for the Project Teams
  • Operate and maintain the Electronic Document Management System and any other system as specified by the Project.
  • Identify and incorporate lessons learned as part of continuous learning.
  • Provide expertise in the retention and storage of documents and technical deliverables

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

The individual would possess good written and verbal skills and an ability to influence and interact with all Management Levels. 


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related experience, or a combination and equivalency of experience and or education.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good understanding of drawing standards used by various nuclear clients
  • Good understanding of AECOM processes and procedures.
  • 10+ years of experience in an office and document storage environment.
