As a Talent Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing and attracting quality talent for current and future hiring needs for a wide range of Engineering and Refinery Operations roles . Your primary goal will be to build our talent pipelines and reduce our time and cost of hire by partnering closely with our Talent Acquisition Partners, Hiring Managers, and other internal stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities:

Partner with the Talent Acquisition Partners and Hiring Managers to understand and support hiring needs for your business area. Provide a highly engaged and positive candidate experience. Proactively build diverse talent pipelines to meet current and future business needs by networking, reaching out, prospecting and leveraging tools such as our Talent Community, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Resume, hiring groups, etc.. Build and nurture relationships with potential candidates, ensuring qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities. Identify Talent Attraction efforts to develop creative ways to promote our roles and employer brand through social avenues (ie. Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok). At times, organize and represent the company at external events to build and foster relationships with potential candidates. Post and promote our roles on job boards to raise role and brand awareness (ie. LinkedIn, Indeed). Manage our incoming prospects through our Talent Community and triage them to the appropriate talent pools based on their skillset.

Your skills:

Ability to cultivate and sustain an environment of positive collaboration and working relationships by communicating with key stakeholders. Ability to manage and prioritize your time effectively. Strong collaboration and relationship building skills. Detail oriented with strong organizational skills. Customer-focus mindset. Experience using sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed Resume are a definite asset. Ability to perform Boolean & basic level searches is an asset.

Education and experience:

Post-secondary education in Human Resources or equivalent. Experience in Talent Sourcing, Talent Research, Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, Recruitment Marketing, Talent Attraction, or related experience.
