Position Summary

In this full-time position, you will manage the inventory of all parts for the McAsphalt Logistics Inc Fleet Shop.  

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Control and manage the inventory in JDE, on all parts, hose fittings, driver supplies, safety supplies, tires, etc.
  • Process & follow up on parts warranties. 
  • Order all stock items for the shop.
  • Process parts entering and billing out of parts leaving the shop.
  • Process all parts as part of mechanic work orders.
  • Control all parts going from inventory into and out of the shop.
  • Organize and implement inventory reconciliation in relation to 6S, Colas and McAsphalt standards.
  • Shop for and maintain the best pricing possible with existing & future vendors and parts suppliers.
  • Maintain the Michelin tire Account.
  • Control parts for drivers on trucks (spares) oil, antifreeze, spare light bulbs, etc. 
  • Order parts for customers and update billing on estimates and final invoices for customers.
  • Maintain inventory on all first aid kits, spill kits, eye wash kits, etc.
  • Maintain all inventory in hose trailers, tire trailers & DEF trailers.
  • Participate in Safety training for the shop. 
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Red Seal trade qualification would be an asset but would be required if minimum years of experience have not been obtained.
