Starting Rate of Pay:$24.67 per hour.

We recognizetenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after sixmonths and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate forthis role would be $29.08 perhour. 

Job DutiesInclude:  

Reportingto the VIP Concierge Manager responsibilities and essential jobfunctions include but are not limited to thefollowing:

  • Assist in coordinating allphases of the guests stay from prearrival arrival and follow upafter departure to ensure the highest level of guest service and aseamless experience is provided
  • Assist VIP andhigh profile guests with preparation of activity itineraries andground transportation when applicable
  • Meet andgreet whenever possible and ensure personal contact at a minimum ofonce during the guests stay
  • Empower colleaguesto appease any guest service challenges and ensure all guest issuesare tracked and followed up on to ensure servicerecovery
  • Must be available for shift workincluding weekends mornings and evenings
  • Toprovide a courteous and professional service at all times utilizingour Concierge Service Essentials to turn moments into memories forour guests
  • To provide accurate and detailedinformation about dining and lounge areas and all other hotelrelated services
  • To provide accurate anddetailed information in regards to our Resort Activityofferings  in addition to assisting withreservations
  • To offer assistance to all guestsin making reservations and arrangements for dining activities andtours; for example horseback riding limousine services theatretickets sporting events
  • Lead by example andsustain an environment of Respect Integrity Teamwork AccountabilityExcellence and positive employee relations
  • Toprovide correct and accurate information on tourist sites andactivities including being well versed in their individual companypolicies and procedures
  • To assist guests withtheir various inhouse requests through Royal ServiceManager
  • To assist guests with Dininginformation and reservations through our Open Table Guest Centrereservation system
  • To assist guests with ResortActivity and Spa information and facilitate reservations asrequested in UrVenue.
  • To assist guests withGolf information and liaise reservations asrequested
  • To log reservations createconfirmations and itineraries provide information and be wellversed on the ALICE application
  • To assist withany special requests the guest may have
  • Otherduties asassigned

Qualifications:

Your Skills&Qualifications:

  • Minimum2 years previous Hotel experience in Front Office Guest ServicesConcierge or Royal Service
  • Les Clefs dOrmembership an asset or are currently working towardsmembership
  • Exceptional interpersonal andorganizational skills; written and verbal communicationsskills
  • Strong guest service orientation and apassion for delivering outstandingservice
  • Degree or Diploma in HospitalityManagement is an asset
  • Food & BeverageExperience an asset
  • High attention todetail
  • Second language is anasset
  • Strong guest service orientation and apassion for delivering outstandingservice
  • Exceptional interpersonal andorganizational skills; written and verbal communicationsskills
  • Excellent knowledge of MicrosOperaPROPERTY Manager
  • Strong working Knowledge ofMicrosoft Office Suite
  • Ability to workindependently and prioritizeresponsibilities
  • Complete knowledge of allhotels facilities and tourist attractions/ activities in the Townof Banff
  • Clean driving record and Class 5license
