Roles and Responsibilities

Express Service Advisor Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers promptly and courteously upon arrival.
  • Assist customers with their service needs by explaining the required maintenance and repairs.
  • Create and manage repair orders accurately based on customer requests and vehicle inspections.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the service process, ensuring their expectations are managed effectively.
  • Coordinate with technicians and parts advisors to ensure timely and accurate completion of work.
  • Review and sell additional required maintenance or repairs as required. 
  • Review mechanical inspections and invoices with customers at pick-up, ensuring transparency about all work performed and related costs.
  • Handle customer concerns and provide resolutions to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Support the Service Advisor team in managing customer flow and service drive-thru logistics.
     
Qualifications:
  • 1 - 2 years of automotive dealership experience, preferably in a Service Advisor, BDC (Business Development Center) or Customer Service Role, is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive service processes and terminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license required.
