The Account Executive develops and manages the relationship with prospective and existing clients, including brokers, advisors, insurance carrier or TPA sales teams and plan sponsors.  This position is the owner of their annual renewal plan, development of long-term account strategy and lead in meeting client immediate needs.  The Account Executive is responsible for identifying leads, up sell and expansion opportunities, and incorporating into annual strategic plan as well as client retention, achieving corporate strategic goals relative to client base and overall customer satisfaction.

The Account Executive has overall accountability for core service delivery for clients, working cross-functionally with all ESC business areas in order to meet and/or exceeding corporate strategic goals and client expectations.

Responsabilités principales

  • Être responsable de la conception d’un plan stratégique axé sur les clients et assurer le suivi continu du plan et le modifier au besoin. Présenter une analyse du rendement annuel des régimes aux clients.

  • Communiquer directement avec les clients et les groupes désignés tous les trois mois ou plus souvent, au besoin. Représenter Express Scripts Canada et communiquer avec les clients aussi souvent que nécessaire afin de maintenir et d’approfondir les relations avec eux et de fidéliser la clientèle.

  • Agir à titre de stratège pour les comptes désignés, tant à l’interne qu’à l’externe. Cerner les occasions de ventes et de nouveaux marchés et maximiser les possibilités de croissance de revenus.

  • Travailler en collaboration avec l’équipe de gestion des comptes et diriger les activités de l’équipe interne des adjoints de chargés de comptes, y compris les membres des équipes élargies, en ce qui a trait aux objectifs stratégiques relatifs à la clientèle et aux problèmes de services qui ont été signalés. Gérer les projets spéciaux et les groupes de travail sous sa responsabilité.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify leads, manage and strengthen client relationships and ensure satisfaction levels are met.  Responsible for client renewals, up sells and expansions and for meeting client retention targets.  Work with consultants as required.

  • Accountable for development of client-specific strategic plan, and ongoing monitoring of plan with adjustments made as necessary.  Delivery of annual review of plan performance with client.  

  • Interface directly with assigned clients and groups on a quarterly basis or more frequently as needed.  Serves as the face of Express Scripts Canada with ongoing communication to the client as necessary to maintain and grow relationship thereby, ensuring client retention.

  • Serve as account strategist for assigned accounts both internally and externally.  Determine opportunities for up sells, expansions and maximizing opportunities for revenue growth.

  • Work in collaboration with Account Management team and direct activities of internal Account Associate team, including extended team members, as related to client strategic objectives and escalated service issues.  Special projects and tasks forces as assigned.

Compétences recherchées

  • Être titulaire d’un baccalauréat ou posséder une expérience équivalente.

  • Posséder de 5 à 8 années d’expérience pertinente ou détenir une maîtrise et avoir 3 à 5 années d’expérience pertinente.

  • Posséder d’excellentes connaissances des fonctions d’un ordinateur, notamment de la suite Microsoft Office (Word, Excel et PowerPoint). Avoir une connaissance pratique des états financiers.

  • Posséder de solides compétences en gestion de projets. Posséder d’excellentes habiletés de communication et de présentation, à l’oral comme à l’écrit.

  • Être en mesure de négocier et de collaborer avec d’autres personnes et d’organiser, d’analyser et d’interpréter des données.

  • Être en mesure de se déplacer, entre 20% et 30% du temps, afin d’atteindre les objectifs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Bilingualism (French / English) is a must

  • Experience in the Health Insurance Industry

  • 5-8 years relevant experience or Master’s degree with 3-5 years relevant experience

  • Strong PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Working knowledge of financials

  • Strong Project management skills; Superior verbal and written communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to negotiate, collaborate with others, organize, analyze and interpret information

  • Ability to travel between 20%-30% of the time to meet goals
