Compensation & Benefits Information

Rate of pay ranges from: $29.60 to $34.13, as per the OPSEU Collective Agreement Eligibility to enroll in the HEALTHCARE OF ONTARIO PENSION PLAN (HOOPP). Qualifications

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Laboratory Technician training program or equivalent. Must be registered with the MLPAO as a Medical Laboratory Technician Preference will be given to Medical Laboratory Technicians who have the cMLA/TMLPAO. Preference will be given to applicants with Medical Laboratory and Phlebotomy experience. The individual must have the ability to work quickly but accurately, under pressure with minimum supervision, establish priorities and be able to work collaboratively with all members of the health care team and will be required to provide Phlebotomy service at Long Term Care facilities. The incumbent to this position must at all times respect the confidentiality of all information. The successful candidate must demonstrate professionalism, courteous approach with patients, staff and the public. Bilingualism in both official languages is considered an asset. Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position. Other duties as assigned.
