Job Description

TheSenior Financial Consolidation Analyst, reports directly to the Financial Reporting Manager. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to develop a solid understanding of systems, data flows and reporting.

Prepare consolidated results, including compliance reports on a monthly and quarterly basis Handle accounting for newly acquired or created entities Handle complex accounting issues Participate in the annual external audit process and in the preparation of external financial statements Verify consolidated results for compliance with credit facility financial covenants and baskets Verify results of divisions and entities in group for accuracy and completeness Participate in the deployment of new systems or the improvement of existing systems and processes Participate in the development of an accounting operations manual Document, review and improve the effectiveness of reporting processes and procedures Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statistical information for governmental organizations Handle various ad hoc tasks, including requests from various departments within the company.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting and a professional CPA designation Between two (2) and five (5) years' relevant experience in financial consolidation and reporting within a large, complex organization with several divisions and sites Good knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) Excellent analytical skills and team spirit Bilingual (English and French), both written and spoken Knowledge of Microsoft D365 and CCH Tagetik consolidation software (an asset).
