We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a File Clerk in the bustling city of Waterloo, Ontario. A part of our team, the File Clerk will be chiefly involved in the careful handling and organization of paper documents and promotional items, ensuring efficient space management within our workplace.


Responsibilities:

• Carefully packing files and promotional products like laptop bags and sweatshirts into boxes

• Transporting files across the office using a push cart if necessary

• Moving files from one cabinet to another

• Adapting to flexible work hours and maintaining efficiency, regardless of the shift duration

• Assisting in the downsizing of the office by effective space utilization

• Performing clerical duties as required.


• High School Diploma or equivalent educational qualification.

• Proficiency in performing clerical duties such as sorting, organizing, and filing documents.

• Knowledge of filing systems and procedures, and the ability to maintain them efficiently.

• Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Good time management skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Physical ability to lift and move boxes of files as needed.
