With stocking service centers located in all corners of North America, and distribution partners worldwide, Connexus Industries is a leading provider of chain and industrial manufacturing solutions.

We are growing and hiring a Supply Chain Coordinator for our Langley location to ensure the supply chain flow from sourcing and purchasing through receiving and shipping logistics to support our industrial chain, laser, and metal detector manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include:
  • Analyze procurement requirements, prepare, and issue purchase orders, and monitor for timely delivery.
  • Correspond with vendors for RFQ’s, ETA’s and advise sales in a timely manner.
  • Communicate and build relationships with other departments such as engineering, production and finance.
  • Monitor/maintain inventory levels including consignment stock levels at overseas factories.
  • Coordinate annual inventory count – data input, recounts, adjustments.
  • Coordinate and manage shipping and freight, including carrier selection, rate negotiation, and shipment tracking.
  • Prepare and issue shipping documents, such as POs for freight and brokerage, bills of lading, commercial invoices, and export/import documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and hazardous materials handling procedures.
  • Liaise with customs brokers for expediting of import/export shipments. 
  • Process documents for received Purchase Orders, including determining landed cost.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Other duties as required.

Skills and Experience:
  • Diploma or Degree in a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • APICS, CLTD, CPIM, or other certification or working towards one.
  • Experience in purchasing and logistics, preferably in industrial manufacturing.
  • 2 plus years’ international inbound and outbound shipping experience, including US shipping documentation.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiations.
  • Knowledge of inventory management practices.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP software, and Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Salary: $65,000 to $75,000 depending on experience.
