About the Role 

The Business Development Representative focuses on nurturing customer relationships, supporting vendor initiatives, and managing vendor pipelines. The role involves driving partner growth through outbound calls, lead follow-ups, deal closures, and expanding relationships.

What You’ll Do:

Maintain customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns.

Provide customer service and support as a primary contact.

Collaborate with vendors to execute strategic initiatives and drive business growth.

Support partner enablement, including vendor training and guidance on products.

Manage the vendor pipeline by identifying leads and progressing opportunities.

Coordinate with internal teams for follow-up and accurate reporting.

Develop expertise in vendor products and industry trends.

Analyze data to identify improvements and implement strategies.

Solve problems using technical knowledge to configure, price, quote, and process requests.

Provide education and guidance on product alternatives and cross-references.

Participate in sales team planning and review processes.

Conduct customer consultations and vendor training.

Attend relevant industry training as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

1-3 years of relevant experience preferred; high school diploma required, with post-secondary education in marketing or related fields preferred.

Understanding of sales processes, procedures, and terminology.

Proficiency in basic math, data entry, and office equipment operation.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages.

Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.

Ability to collaborate effectively, manage time, and adapt to change.

Commitment to confidentiality, ethical standards, and professionalism.

Willingness to travel, work non-standard hours or overtime, and adapt to new technology.

Coordonner avec les équipes internes pour le suivi et la production de rapports précis.

Développer une expertise dans les produits des fournisseurs et les tendances du secteur.

Analyser les données pour identifier des améliorations et mettre en œuvre des stratégies.

Résoudre les problèmes en utilisant des connaissances techniques pour configurer, évaluer les prix, établir des soumissions et traiter les demandes.

Fournir des informations et des conseils sur les alternatives de produits et les références croisées.

Participer aux processus de planification et de révision de l'équipe commerciale.

Mener des consultations clients et des formations fournisseurs.

Participer à des formations industrielles pertinentes, si nécessaire.

Ce que nous recherchons :

1 à 3 ans d'expérience pertinente de préférence; diplôme d'études secondaires requis, avec des études postsecondaires en commercialisation ou dans des domaines connexes de préférence.

Compréhension des processus de vente, des marches à suivre et de la terminologie.

Compétence en mathématiques de base, en saisie de données et en utilisation d'équipements de bureau.

Excellentes compétences en communication verbale et écrite en anglais et dans les langues locales.

Forte capacité à résoudre des problèmes, penser de manière critique et prendre des décisions.

Capacité à collaborer efficacement, à gérer son temps et à s'adapter aux changements.

Engagement envers la confidentialité, les normes éthiques et le professionnalisme.

Volonté de voyager, de travailler des heures non standards ou des heures supplémentaires et de s'adapter aux nouvelles technologies.
