Asa Pediatric Nurse you will provide specialized nursing care toinfants children and adolescents in various healthcare settings.Your role is essential in promoting the health and wellbeing ofyoung patients and supporting their families through medicalprocedures and treatmentplans.

KeyResponsibilities:
  • Assessand monitor the health status of pediatric patients includingtaking vital signs conducting physical exams and gathering medicalhistories.
  • Developand implement individualized care plans based on the unique needsof each child collaborating with physicians and other healthcareprofessionals.
  • Administermedications vaccinations and treatments as prescribed ensuringaccurate dosages and patientsafety.
  • Educatepatients and their families about medical conditions treatmentoptions and preventative care providing support and resources asneeded.
  • Managemedical equipment and assist with diagnostic tests and proceduresspecific to pediatricpatients.
  • Maintainaccurate and uptodate patient records documenting observationsinterventions and patientprogress.
  • Advocatefor the needs and rights of pediatric patients ensuring acompassionate and supportiveenvironment.
  • Stayinformed about developments in pediatric nursing practicestreatments and healthcareregulations.

Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; an Associate s degree inNursing (ADN) may be acceptable with relevantexperience.
  • Activenursing license in insert relevant state orregion.
  • Previousexperience in pediatric nursing or a related field ispreferred.
  • Strongclinical skills and a thorough understanding of pediatrichealthcare.
  • Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact withchildren and theirfamilies.
  • Abilityto work collaboratively within a healthcare team and providecompassionatecare.
