Purpose of the position
La Vilia St-Jean is currently looking for a daytime maintenance worker, who will be responsible for carrying out various upkeep and maintenance tasks in common areas and apartments. Part-time evening position. Minimum 3 evenings per week between 3 and 8 Possibility of working more hours. Specifically, your daily life with us will look like : Maintain and clean the premises Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior Clear and salt the entrances Carry out the maintenance of the premises in accordance to a regular reocurring schedule or as required Make service calls Minor repairs in apartments and common areas (plaster, paint, change lights, various installations, etc.) Cleaning and performing floor maintenance duties in the common areas
The ideal person has :
Good judgment and priority management Good sense of organization Good physical ability Ability to analyze, solve problems and make decisions Team spirit Punctuality and reliability
Required qualifications :
Professional training in general building maintenance (an asset)
