Heavy Equipment Operator

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy equipment, including Skid Steers, Excavators, Dozers, Rock Trucks, and Packers, using various attachments.

  • Perform tasks such as land clearing, stripping, stockpiling, rough and fine grading, finishing, backfilling, and loading trucks.

  • Interpret architectural plans and read grade stakes; utilize equipment with GPS technology.

  • Plan and construct landscaped environments.

  • Install pavers and retaining walls.

  • At times perform various miscellaneous tasks on sites.

  • Clean and lubricate equipment as required.


Qualifications:

  • Heavy Equipment operation training certificate an asset.

  • Minimum 3 years of related experience required.

  • Finishing grade operating skills is an asset.


Salary: We offer a range from $30.00 to $45.00 / hour based on qualifications.

Bonus: Potential bonus of up to 15% of annual salary, at the discretion of the employer.

Benefits: Group benefits after 3-months of employment, including extended health.

Job Type: Seasonal Employment; Full time Minimum 32 hours per week.

Language: At least intermediate oral English is required.

Job Location: De Winton AB, T0L 0X0, but also required to work in various locations in

the Calgary area
