Destination Canada is seeking an exceptional candidate to join their leadership team as the Senior Vice President, Talent & Culture and Corporate Services. In this critical role, you will oversee and drive the strategic direction of multiple departments, including Talent & Culture (HR), Procurement, Legal, IT, Facilities Management, and Translation. Reporting directly to the President and CEO, you will be instrumental in shaping the efficiency, compliance, and overall effectiveness of their corporate operations. Above all, you will provide impactful leadership and guidance to the corporate services teams, empowering them to deliver streamlined operations, agile services, and business partners.

The successful candidate for this newly created role will embody inspiration, knowledge, and business acumen, coupled with a decisive leadership style adept in both strategy development and execution. The individual will possess exceptional communication skills and the dynamism necessary to conceive a vision and effectively lead its realization. As a visionary and strategic leader, the Senior Vice President, Talent & Culture and Corporate Services will be entrusted with crafting the overarching vision and strategic blueprint for all departments under their purview. With a keen focus on fostering a vibrant culture and enhancing engagement, the SVP will demonstrate a business-oriented approach and extensive people leadership experience.

With an undergraduate degree, preferably in business or human resources, the incumbent will have experience leading teams, preferrable in a government organization.They will have exceptional strategic and decision-making skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels. They have the demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiency and excellence.This role is considered bilingual and requires proficiency in both English and French.
