In the Richter Family Office Services (FOS), we act as personal CFO’s for high-net-worth families. We offer a customized approach for each family, which includes services such as cash management, lifestyle management, integrated financial planning opportunities as well as day-to-day accounting and compliance needs.

A day in the life of an Accounting Specialist:

Investment bookkeeping including reconciliation with broker statements and tax reporting slips. Full cycle bookkeeping including A/P, A/R, bank and credit card reconciliation and month end journal entries. Preparation of supporting documents for year-end preparation for internal accounting team Correspondence with Canada Revenue Agency and Revenue Quebec, as required.

What we are looking for:

University degree, college diploma or diploma of vocational studies (DEP). Investment bookkeeping (an asset) 2 to 5 years of relevant bookkeeping experience Knowledge and experience in a variety of software applications including QuickBooks, SAGE CaseWare, Caseiew, Write Up, Tax Prep, Excel, and other MS Office Applications. Have a self-starter attitude with well-developed time management skills and the commitment to meeting deadlines. Have proven problem solving capabilities including ingenuity, analytical skills, and creativity. Possess exceptional technical skills and a fine attention to detail. Have strong interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to organize, prepare and clearly present information to our clients and team. Public accounting experience will be a definite plus.
