Principle Responsibilities

Ensures the integrity of financial records is in compliance with legislation, regulations and policies Leads the development of financial reports and analysis Monitors cash flow and treasury management Manages the processes for Accounts Payable and Account Receivable systems Oversees payroll for accuracy and timeliness of employee payments Leads a team of finance staff Provides efficient and effective office management

Required knowledge and training 

Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration or equivalent business and a recognized Canadian and/or US accounting designation (CPA) 5+ years of accounting and financial administration experience for a major company or division of a large corporation Experience leading financial teams as well as developing and mentoring staff Strong analytical, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting skills Excellent ERP and Microsoft Office Suite skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong communication skills Strong negotiating skills and tenacity Strong attention to detail Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Legally entitled to work in Canada
