ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Foremost has an immediate opening for a full- time Burn Table/Sawyer located at our facility in Calgary, Alberta for the day shift / afternoon shift. This position will be responsible for processing of raw material to work order specifications using various machines.

Accountabilities:

∙ Works with direction to drawings, sketches, layout boards, etc. and/or verbal instructions and performs cutting functions in accordance with established practices and procedures

∙ Required to operate saws and/or cutting tables and basic shop equipment, power tools and hand tools

∙ Responsible for housekeeping and proper storage and handling of materials, equipment and supplies in their department

∙ Performs other tasks related to his/her classification.

Qualifications:

∙ Ability to input templates into CNC machine or Pronest software

∙ Computer, Windows and Excel knowledge

∙ Overhead crane and forklift training preferred

∙ Can discern different types of materials and cut according to requirements

∙ Team player who takes pride in their work

∙ Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills and able to work effectively in a diverse, fast-pace environment

∙ Safety Training an asset but will train as required
