Graduation from a recognized Nursing program or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience recognized by the BCCNM. Holds an active registration with the BCCNM as an RN. Gerontological experience preferred. MDS education (Gold Care or Point Click Care).Summary of Responsibilities, but not limited to, include:
Observing, documenting, and updating resident health and care information. Providing personal care assistance to residents when necessary. Collaborating with the Care Manager to complete assessments and care plans. Ensuring all staff follow Fall Safety programs. Contributing to the development and adjustment of care plans in interdisciplinary meetings. Assessing resident health, distinguishing normal from abnormal findings, recognizing mental health changes, and identifying strengths and limitations.
