This opportunity is located in Vancouver, BC for the New St. Paul Hospital Project.
As Contracts Administrator, NSP you:
- Administer and issue subcontract documentation and follow up with subcontractors daily.
- Review SI's, RFI's and drawing packages, receive and issue information to subcontractors or on behalf of subcontractors.
- Perform change management on subcontractor contracts.
- Validate site progress daily and resolve construction roadblocks.
- Collaborate with the construction team to ensure subcontractor performance meets standards.
- Address or mandate changes as required by the contract.
- Review and validate monthly invoices for payment.
- Maintain constant communication with subcontractors and the construction team.
- Manage subcontractor risk and maintain up-to-date subcontract budget forecasts.
- Process contract revisions in SAP, ensuring accuracy in cost codes and billing.
- Finalize and issue contracts.
Our ideal candidate has:
- Experience on live construction sites with a foundational understanding of construction methods, KPIs, and best practices.
- Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings, site instructions, RFIs, change management processes, Gantt charts, and schedules.
- Strong commitment to safety and a basic grasp of contract and contract management principles.
- Good health for performing daily site walks and progress reviews; knowledge of electrical systems is a plus.
- Diploma in Project Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or relevant experience.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as a team player and manage tough conversations when needed.
- Salary: $50,000+
